Our beef is 100% grass-fed and finished, raised on pasture from start to finish with no grain ever. The result is richly flavored beef with the kind of quality and nutrition families are looking for when they choose to buy directly from a local farm
In Spring, Summer & Fall our cattle graze on fresh pastures and in Winter our cattle eat dried and baled forage in the form of hay.
Our animals are raised outdoors on pasture with space to move, forage, and express their natural behaviors. We follow the seasons closely, raising poultry and hogs from Spring to Fall when pasture growth and weather allow them to truly thrive outdoors, while still providing shelter during harsh weather conditions.

We never use antibiotics in the animals raised for our meat program. If an animal ever needs treatment due to illness or injury, we will not withhold treatment, but that animal will not be processed for meat sales.
Our animals are raised without added hormones or steroids. While hormone use is already prohibited in U.S. poultry and pork production, we choose to maintain the same standard across all of the meats we raise.
Our animals are raised without the use of mRNA vaccines.
We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers on our farm. We care deeply about the health of our soil, our animals, and this land we get to steward every day.
If you visit the farm, forgive the driveway weeds and fencelines that look a little wild - when we say no chemicals, we mean it!
In addition to pasture, our poultry and hogs are supplemented with grain. We use locally raised, non-GMO feed sourced from farmers we know and trust. The grain is milled by a local Amish family, keeping more of our food dollars supporting farms and rural communities close to home.
These products are made without gluten ingredients, but they are not processed in a dedicated gluten-free facility. Because of shared equipment and handling, trace cross contamination may be possible.
Our cured products are made using a variety of traditional curing methods depending on the product. Some are made with naturally derived curing agents like celery powder, while others use conventional curing ingredients for the flavor, texture, and quality customers expect from products like bacon and ham
It’s important to note that products cured with naturally derived ingredients like celery powder still contain nitrates in the finished product.
No added sugars or sweeteners.
We use practices like multi-species rotational grazing, diverse forage, and organic management practices to improve the health of our soil. This impacts the health of the animals we raise and the end consumer - your family and ours!
Our goal is to leave this land healthier and more productive for the next generation than when we started.
Our animals have room to move and express their natural behaviors, access to fresh, clean pastures, and are treated with respect every day of their lives. We believe how an animal lives matters, and it matters in the quality of the meat.
Non-homogenized milk hasn’t been processed to keep the cream evenly distributed, so the cream naturally rises to the top. Give it a shake before pouring if you’d like it mixed back in.
Certified organic products meet the USDA's standards: no synthetic pesticides, no GMOs, no artificial additives. The certification is third-party verified. FYI -- all of our products are grown to organic standards, but some actually hold the USDA certification.
